Join us at The Baxter, Bozeman's premier landmark building located at the center of historic downtown, for your celebration, meeting or wedding. The Baxter, established in 1929, is an ideal place to host your event. We have an array of venues ranging from our historic ballroom to our well-appointed conference or dining spaces. The Baxter has an experienced staff to help facilitate your event or meeting.

LOCATION
The Baxter is located on Main Street in the heart of historic downtown Bozeman. For groups interested in off-site special events we also have a ranch property located near Bozeman.

AMENITIES
Our event spaces have been recently renovated and offer state-of-the-art meeting needs. All of the spaces have windows and natural lighting. We also have a fully renovated catering kitchen to service on-site functions as well as full bar service available for all event spaces.

The Baxter has one and two bedroom apartments available with varying rental terms. Please call for current availability.

Event spaces include the following and are located at our two venues.

The Grand Ballroom is largest venue in the Historic Baxter Hotel, centrally appointed on the Mezzanine Level. Maple hardwood floors, large arched windows flooded with natural light, and original accents complement every event. This space is perfect for weddings, rehearsal dinners, fundraisers, conferences, and more.

The Main Ballroom encompasses the Grand Ballroom amenities but for more moderately attended events. This space is ideal for seminars, banquet dinners, presentations, and retreats.

The Petite Ballroom offers a more intimate setting for events. With its maple hardwood floors, large West and North facing windows, and flexible space; the Petite Ballroom is the ideal backdrop for business dinners, tradeshows, socials, and engagement parties.

The East Mezzanine Suite is comprised of a lovely shared entry and a bright, airy room overlooking Main Street. Tucked away on the right-hand side of the Mezzanine, this suite bodes an open space with modern amenities; perfect for workshops, bridal showers, graduation parties, luncheons, and baby showers.

The Willson Suite is comprised of a larger, main room with a well-appointed adjacent seating area. The larger space offers historic charm with a great view of Downtown Bozeman. The smaller conference-style suite is perfect for business meetings, presentations, dinners, and cooperate events

The Baxter Ranch offers 270 acres of Montana landscape. The natural outdoor setting allows one to build the occasion they have always envisioned with the Bridgers and blue skies as the backdrop.

MEETING & EQUIPMENT SERVICES
Complimentary wireless internet access, 60 to 70-inch wall mounted flat screen TVs with HDMI cords. LCD projectors, 136-inch freestanding screen, and conference phone are available. The Baxter Ballroom has a built-in sound system with two outputs for microphones and music usage. We also offer non-alcoholic and Lite Fare options for every event.
